Delivering Excellence: Hanlon's Role in the Fisher & Paykel Global Headquarters

Hanlon is proud to be delivering the plumbing and hydraulic installation for the new Fisher & Paykel Global Headquarters, a forward-thinking development currently under construction in Penrose, Auckland. This purpose-built facility represents the next chapter in Fisher & Paykel's legacy, bringing together cutting-edge design, sustainable construction, and a deep connection to Aotearoa's cultural landscape.

Designed by RTA Studio and led by main contractor Naylor Love, the project spans approximately 29,000 square meters and includes three district timber-framed buildings: the Home (corporate offices), the Shed (research and development/ testing labs), and the Garage (parking and end-of-trip facilities). Once complete, the Fisher & Paykel Headquarters will be the largest mass-timber commercial building in New Zealand, setting a new benchmark for environmentally conscious construction and net-zero operational emissions.

Hanlon's involvement in the project began two years ago and remains ongoing as we deliver full hydraulic plumbing systems across all three buildings. Our work includes the installation of water supply, drainage, stormwater, and sanitary infrastructure - designed and executed to meet the high-performance and sustainability standards expected from a project of this scale. Every stage of our work has been carefully coordinated with the design and construction teams to ensure a seamless integration of hydraulic services with the wider architectural and environmental vision.

The project's commitment to sustainability aligns closely with Hanlon's own values. From installing water-efficient systems to supporting the site's long-term functionality, our hydraulic work is helping to shape a development that is both future-focused and environmentally responsible. The use of mass-timber construction, combined with ecologically sensitive landscaping reinforces the project's unique position in New Zealand's commercial landscape.

As construction continues, Hanlon is proud to remain a trusted partner in this landmark development. We look forward to the completion of the Fisher & Paykel Headquarters in 2026 and to seeing it become a place of innovation, creativity, and sustainable design. Being part of this transformative project reflects Hanlon's capability, professionalism, and continued commitment to building a better future, one project at a time.
