Hanlon Plumbing has an extensive apprenticeship support program; this stems from our firm belief that our apprentices are essential to the future of the company. Which is why we endeavor to ensure our apprentices are taking on important initiatives within the company, in preparation for their greater roles within the organisation.

Hanlon Plumbing is one of the original partners to the Pacifica and Maori Apprenticeship Training Trust and partner with ARA. We work alongside these two organisations to bring new opportunities within Hanlon to aspiring plumbers.

A vital key to becoming a qualified plumber is completing 4-year course-based apprenticeship. We work closely with Unitec and The Skills Organisation (M.I.T) to help our apprentices achieve their qualifications

Tell me and I forget, teach me and I may remember, involve me and I learn - Benjamin Franklin.

Our site managers and leaders are another important aspect of our apprentice’s development, they are the ones who supply hands on, day to day guidance. Our apprentices are our future Contract Managers, Project Managers and Foreman.

We believe that providing support to our apprentices will give them the opportunity to become future Contract Managers, Project Managers and Foreman.
